Describe your reflections on your internship project – What went well, what should you have done differently, what stands out to you?
I overall was so happy with my experience on internship. I really felt that I was pushed outside of my comfort zone and really challenged but in good ways. I think the whole experience went well. I wouldn't have done anything differently I don't think. The things that stand out to me are how much my perspective changed about people who work retail ad for people who open their own business.

What advice would you pass on to future interns? I think future interns should be really willing. Willing to learn, to work, and to grow. I think that is the best way to success in an internship. What are the most important skills for a student to be successful at his/her internship? I really think it's communication. It so hard to not know how to communicate and build relationships with the people around you because then it feels lonely and boring. I think making relationships is super necessary. How could another student develop these skills prior to beginning internship? I think being involved in something. Putting yourself out there. Like joining a club or a team. In what ways has your internship inspired you to think about college?
I have no idea right now what I want to do for college. Have you discovered new colleges that you are interested in attending? I am not sure what I want to do right now but I am interested in Marine Biology. Have you learned about new courses to study or majors to pursue? Marine Biologist. What are you most thankful for in your internship experience? What people, experiences, situations, etc.
I thankful for the experience I have been given. I think gaining experience is so essential for life and I am so helpful to have been given this. What new appreciations have you gained through internship and how did you develop these? I have a new appreciation for the people who work in customer service because it is not very easy. |
